CLARK FREEPORT – Jasmine Omay, 18, from Tarlac province, was hailed as the first ever Miss Midori Clark 2018 during the coronation night at the Fiesta Hall of Midori Hotel and Casino here on Sunday.

The young lass, who stands five feet and nine inches tall, also took home P1 million worth of prizes – P300,000 cash and P700,000 worth of pilot training from Omni Aviation.

A student leader and a sports enthusiast, Omay is taking up a business management course. Prior to joining the Midori pageant, she was named Miss Tarlac 2018 second runner-up.

The other winners were runners-up Emma Mary Tiglao (1st), Elaiza Dee Alzona (2nd), Christine Juliane Opiaza (3rd) and Anie Uson (4th) who took home P200,000, P100,000, P30,000 and P20,000 cash, respectively.

Special awards were accorded to Miss Congeniality Airish Joy Rivera, Best in Talent Christine Juliane Opiaza, Miss Aqua Planet Mariah Nilo and Miss Photogenic, Best in Swimsuit and Best in Evening Gown Anie Uson.

Tagged as “beauties of the new generation,” the winners and qualifiers proved that the women of the modern age are more than just beauty and brains, said the organizers.

Omay’s crown was designed by Manny Halasan.

Omay is now the ambassadress for the corporate social responsibility projects of Midori Hotel and Casino as well as BB International.
