TARLAC CITY – To make health services more accessible to residents in the northern part of Tarlac, the provincial government opened recently the 1st District hospital in Barangay San Julian, Moncada.

Gov. Susan Yap said in a statement that enhancing public health services and providing better medical facilities to Tarlaqueños are among the priorities of her administration.

“Residents who will need medical attention will no longer need to go to the Tarlac Provincial Hospital or to a private hospital because we have here a facility just around the corner of your town,” Yap said.

Provincial Ordinance No. 11, Series of 2018, named the 50-bed hospital “Enrique Henry M. Cojuangco Memorial District Hospital” in honor of the late congressman who envisioned the project.

“The noble project has materialized in a bid to provide the constituencies’ quality and accessible healthcare services for better health outcomes,” Yap added.
