SM City Telabastagan unveils Magical Glasshouse Christmas display

SM City Telabastagan marked the start of the Yuletide season with a ceremonial lighting of the Christmas display last Saturday, graced by SM Regional Operations Manager North Luzon 4 Andrea Madlangbayan, SM City Telabastagan Mall Manager Bernadette Antonio, City of San Fernando Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, Barangay Telabastagan SK Chairman Almarie Lingat and DOT Region 3 Supervising Tourism Operations Officer Chriselle May Yambao.

Inspired by this year’s theme, Sama Sama Tayo Ngayong Pasko sa SM, a 35 feet Magical Glasshouse – surrounded with Christmas trees adorned with Capiz ornaments made by capiz parol makers in the City of San Fernando symbolizes the gift of hope and warmth of home.

“Even as it is a challenging year, we want to bring joy from beautiful Christmas tree centerpieces, to holiday discountsand new online shopping experience – because in our malls and in your homes, SM wants to be part of your Christmas joy,” says SM Regional Operations Manager North Luzon 4 Andrea Madlangbayan.

Festive not gaudy, a classy and definitely appropriate Magical Glasshouse display brings a brighter and merrier season to mall goers.

“In the midst of the pandemic we are facing. May the lighting of Christmas lights symbolize hope to our fellowmen. Sabi nga nila ang pagasa ay isang salita na tumutukoy sa panahon na darating pa lamang gaya nang 2022,” shares CSF Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin.

In the spirit of giving back to the community, SM supports the yearly BDO Pamaskong Handogg Para sa OFWs .This year, it will be easier for overseas Filipinos workers to connect with their families here in the Philippines to e-celebrate Christmas together.

Another exciting project is the Christmas Market, a partnership of Kasama Ng SM and DTI’s Buy Local, Go Lokal. The Christmas Market offers solely local products. It aims to help rebuild small businesses and encourages everyone to support and buy local.

“Christmas is a time of love, sharing and hope. Now more than ever, this year, hope is what we need. God is reminding us that amidst all the challenges we face.
