CLARK FREEPORT – A South Korean anti-corruption organization awarded Clark Development Corp. president and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera its World Integrity Prize for her dedication to enhancing the country’s image in government service ethics, transparency, and upholding ethical standards.

A 14-man delegation from the Anti-Corruption Civil Movement General Federation (ACCMGF), a member of the Union of International Associations (UIA), presented the award to Devanadera on Jan. 15, at the Clark Visitors Center here.

“What other people could be working on for so long, you as a group are making it shorter for people like us who believe that we are on the right path to fight corruption, and I hope that there will be more people like you who will inspire and who will put a check on us,” enthused Devanadera in her acceptance remarks.

“You are doing something very positive in raising people’s awareness of our concerted fight against corruption. I commend your support to our country’s advocacy for integrity in all sectors of society, and I sincerely salute you,” the CDC president added.

She said the recognition inspires her all the more to give better service to Clark locators and to continue the CDC’s relentless fight against corruption.

Devanadera also thanked Dr. Francisco Villanueva Jr., president of the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA), for nominating her for the award.

She also recognized the presence of several South Korean locators in Clark Freeport Zone and underscored that the CDC’s sustained positive relations with them play a role in enhancing Clark’s reputation as a premier investment and tourism destination in the country.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission has authorized the ACCMGF, a coalition comprising over 300 associations engaged in diverse sectors, including politics, public affairs, education, religion, media, defense, social welfare, economics, public institutions and global civil society.
