DESPITE OFFICIAL statements from the Vatican about the “third secret” of Fatima (in 1917), many have insisted that not all was fully disclosed. Many had expected a more sensational content, a contention based on credible grounds.
Marian experts believe that in Akita, Japan, the third secret of Fatima was revealed anew by the Blessed Mother to Sister Agnes Sasagawa in 1973. The Akita apparitions were declared credible and supernatural by the late Bishop John Shorjiro Ito. But in the recent years, there have been attempts from within the Church to suppress the Akita messages, nay, dire prophecies. Only a diabolical infiltration of the Church, as once confirmed by Pope Paul VI, could explain this.
Again, let me share this warning from Akita, which many believe to be a repetition of what has been suppressed in the Fatima apparitions.
The Blessed Mother said:
“As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will infl ict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests. The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, and bishops against other bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their Confreres. The Church and altars will be vandalized. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.

The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres (other priests); churches and altars will be sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.”
A less well-known fact about the Akita events, where a wooden statue of the Blessed Mother wept 101 times, is the message from her guardian angel explaining to her the significance of the number 101.
The angel opened the Bible and pointed to a specific verse which Sister Agnes Sasagawa recognized immediately as the passage of chapter 3, verse 15 of the book of the Genesis: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your off spring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
The angel explained to her: “There is a meaning to the number 101. It means that the sin has entered in the world by a woman and it is by a woman that will come the salvation. The zero between the two 1, represents the God eternal, being of all eternity until the eternity. The first 1 represents Eve and the second, the Virgin Mary.”
Father Yasuda, the spiritual director of Sister Agnes, commented that this passage of the Genesis is considered as the first gleam of the salvation, the first promise of a Saviour, made by God. It is also the first verse of the Bible referring to the Immaculate Conception of Mary, who never was under the domination of Satan.
In Akita, the Blessed Mother also told Sister Agnes: “Many men in this world afflict the Lord. I desire souls to console Him to soften the anger of the Heavenly Father. I wish, with my Son, for souls who will repair by their suffering and their poverty for the sinners and ingrates.”
Our Lady of Akita also told Sister Sasagawa to receive Holy Communion only on the tongue, never in the hand.
The Remnant newspaper editor Michael J. Matt recently visited the shrine of Our Lady at Akita in Japan and uncovered there an apparent conspiracy to silence and cover up the apparitions of Our Lady to Sister Agnes, after the Bishop of Tokyo said the message of Akita should be dismissed.
This, despite the fact that after an 11- year investigation, Bishop Ito (Niigata, Japan) approved the miracles that had happened at Akita as well as the messages given to Sr. Agnes, expressing his firm conviction that the message was essentially Our Lady’s attempt to deliver the same message she’d delivered at Fatima which, according Bishop Ito, had been largely ignored.
My view is that it’s the devil himself exerting all effort to subdue Marian messages so that the world goes on as it does: loving self, loving material goods, focused on ambitions that focused on temporal life.
