CABANATUAN CITY – A 29-year-old pump attendant was killed in a bloody robbery perpetrated by two unidentified men at a gasoline station in Barangay Talipapa here at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29.
Police identified the victim as Bernadeth Mamangon, married, a resident of the said village.
Investigation disclosed that the victim was attending to customers at pumps nos. 7 and 8 of Fuel Gold gasoline station when one of the suspects fired a handgun at the back of her head.
The gunman then took the victim’s sling bag with P2,500 cash and boarded a black Kawasaki Bajaj motorcycle being driven by his cohort who initially pretended as customer at said gas station, investigation showed.
Police said a dragnet operation is being conducted for possible arrest of the culprits, police said.
