CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Living up to its name, nonprofit group Ripple of Hope has buoyed up the spirit of flood-stricken communities with the delivery of ready-to-eat hot meals in relief operations in 16 of Pampanga’s 21 municipalities.
Spearheaded by Pampanga Business Circle director Chef Felix Niño Asuncion, Mekeni Food Corp. president and CEO Pruds S. Garcia, and PBC senior fellow Rene G. Romero, along with along with donors, volunteers and partner organizations, the relief operations have delivered some 10,880 RTE meals as of Aug. 30.
“Each food pack represents more than just a meal—it is a gesture of compassion and solidarity, reminding flood-affected families that help and hope remain within reach during difficult times,” Asuncion said. “One act. One community. One ripple at a time.”
Aside from the prepared meals, donations in-kind such as rice, essential medicines, and food packs were also distributed during the relief operations.
Ripple of Hope is appealing for additional support as the rainy season continues. The group said a P50 donation can provide one complete ready-to-eat meal, while cash and in-kind donations may be coordinated directly with the organization.
Ripple of Hope emphasized that every cash and in-kind donation is being handled with accountability, honesty and transparency, with contributions directed toward providing assistance to families affected by the flooding.
The organization also expressed its gratitude to its donors, volunteers, drivers, cooks, coordinators, partner organizations and communities that have contributed to the relief effort. Ripple of Hope Community
