Merely a small fraction of the life I have gone through but I can truthfully say that my stay with Punto can be considered as the most enjoying and fruitful years being both “business and pleasure”.
Business in the sense that this “Pananaw ng Malayang Filipino” pays writers well, better than most news dailies in the country.
The pleasure I feel seeing my name in the by-line of articles has not changed. I still feel the heavy pounding of my heart when my news story is published like when I was still a beginner.
I enjoy reading every issue for the last eight years. And who will not be happy writing for Punto Central Luzon?
Everyone is considered as an essential member of a big family. From the publisher to the editor-in-chief down to every office staff and handlers – they are friendly and accommodating.
They make everyone feel important.
My wish – in my fading years, I do hope to see issues of Punto Central Luzon come out five days a week, if not daily, and to circulate more widely.
