BRAZILIAN beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles is aware of the “babaero” image of her husband, actor John Estrada.

I’m not a hypocrite… I don’t know, he’s been telling me he’s been behaving for years. I tell him, ‘Good for you, busy ako masyado para pansinin kita.’”

But whatever John did in the past belongs to the past.

You know, yung iba, oo siguro, nangyari talaga in the past.’

“Sabi ko, ‘Talaga? In the past? Hahaha!’

“Sabi ko, hindi rin yun maganda. Basta ako, I don’t care kasi totoo naman talaga yun. Hahaha!”

With her good tagalog skills, Priscilla defended her husband.

I’m not a hypocrite… I don’t know, he’s been telling me he’s been behaving for years. I tell him, ‘Good for you, busy ako masyado para pansinin kita.’

“You know, we have this relationship, like, he sometimes like to say, ‘Grabe ka, ha. That’s why I love you. You are so funny.’ I say the right things, the truth, but we still get to laugh about it ‘coz, at the end of the day, nobody’s perfect. No relationship is perfect, there is no perfect marriage.

“What I can hope for is what I have found, I go to my heart. I am Christian, I love my family, I love my daughter, I love my husband. I try to do some good, and I’m very blessed.”

“I think, through the years, he also noticed that na kung mayroon siyang ginagawa na masama, it’s not fair. You’re not my problem, you’re God’s problem.’”

“But you know, at the end of the day, some people, they take advantage of situations and we also have to keep in mind that the word gets around.”

We asked Priscilla on her comment when John threatened to sue a reporter who wrote about his rift with Mylene Dizon.

John and Mylene worked together in the now defunct series “The Good Son” In a report of the said scribe, he wrote that John intentionally hurt Mylene physically in one of their scenes.

“It came to the point where sumobra na, e, hindi na maganda just to come out with things, to talk to, to make news. Another thing is to come out with things that actually damage the character ng isang tao.

“But you know, at the end of the day, some people take advantage of the situation and we have to keep in mind that word gets around.”

“It’s a very delicate issue, talking about someone like that, even kung totoo iyan, ha.

“It’s just we’re blessed that John, the way I see it, has nothing to prove. He’s been in the industry for, wow, 30 years or more, I don’t think any issue of that kind or nature ever came up about him.

“At the end of the day, poor guy, ‘no,” sabi ni Priscilla tungkol sa reporter.

“But still he’s a reporter, he should be responsible on what he puts in any kind of media press. People, what they read, imagine in Facebook, they believe, even there’s so many fake news. Be responsible, let’s write the truth, let’s make sure that we research, like, to have credible sources before coming out with any kind of issue or intriga just to sell newspaper.”

Did John pursued with the case against the reporter despite the latter’s public apology?

“Honestly, I told him, ‘Sayang ang oras mo diyan. Pero it’s good that you did something that everybody would be aware that’s it is not right to write about anyone.’

“Kahit kami, may kausap kami about sa neighbor, chika-chika, tsismis-tsimis. I know it’s in the culture of Brazilians, of Filipinos.

ASIA’S SONGBIRD Regine Velasquez posts an open letter to her bashers after the ratings of the two Kapamilya shows she appeared on last Sunday, October 28, were released.

After the songbirds transfer to ABS CBN, bashers posted hurting words.

Especially after Regine’s guesting in ASAP and Gandang Gabi Vice.

Regine moved to ABS CBN last October 20 after staying with the kapuso netowrk for almost 20 years.

This is Regine’s message to her bashers.

“Dear bashers, I’m truly happy for GMA Congratulations to everyone in SPS and KMJS. And I’m happy you guys are happy.

“But just a suggestion total sinasabi nyong lahat na hindi ako kailangan ng GMA, sinabihan nyo ako na wala akong utang na loob walang akong loyalty (apparently 20 years can not be considered being loyal) na muka akong pera. Maybe you guys can stop insulting me my husband and my son.

“Again I’m grateful for my 20 years in GMA I made a lot of friends there and i have great memories being a kapuso.

“Free TV po ito walang bayad we are all here to provide you entertainment FOR FREE!!!! So sa madaling salita kayo ang panalo dito.

“Nagmamahal kapamilya Regine”
