CLARK FREEPORT – Christmas is indeed just around the corner as Park Inn by Radisson Clark lights up its elegantly decorated 15-foot Christmas Tree and gingerbread house at the hotel lobby on November 23.
Delighting the guests with Yuletide carols were the “classical crossover” vocal ensemble of Opus One and the La Liberata Cantare Voices choir, directed by Nestor Jardin, brand ambassador of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation.
Elizabeth Sy, president of SM Hotels and Conventions Corp., led the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony with Mabalacat City Mayor Cris Garbo and Park Inn by Radisson Clark general manager Ann Olalo.
Olalo said Christmas is always a time of joy and sharing, which brings smiles to people all around and lend credence to this year’s theme “Love Christmas.”
For his part, Mayor Garbo recalled when Christmas trees were adorned with candles; it symbolizes the light of Christ that brought hope to the sinful world.
Guests were treated to a mini-concert with all time favorite Christmas medleys among them Pasko na Sinta Ko, Angels We Have Heard on High, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year and Joy to the World.
The night ended with a splendid feast at the hotel’s Hues Restaurant were guests partook of the sumptuous buffet prepared by the chef.
