CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Pampanga’s police headquarters reported yesterday the arrest of six “notorious drug dealers” in one day in this city and the towns of Sasmuan and Lubao.
In a report, the police said Ar-jay Calbang, 36, alias Ton, and Junnie Danhil, 42, were arrested in Barangay Quebiawan in this city Wednesday morning. They were found in possession of 14 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu valued at P10,500, a Nokia phone, and the marked P500 bill that a police poseur-buyer used for the buy-bust sting.
In Lubao, Victor Dungca, 39, alias Buboy, was also arrested in yet another buy-bust operation in the afternoon of the same day in Barangay San Roque Dau II. He had two sachets of suspected shabu in possession. The P500 marked bill was also recovered from him, police said.
The police also reported that in Sasmuan on the same day, Kennet Dalay, 25, tagged as the Number 3 “drug personality” in the town, was also nabbed with his companions Archie Limpin, 38, and Blly Limpin, 26, whom the police said belonged to the Top 10 list of drug personalities in the town, in another buy-bust sting in Barangay San Nicolas Uno. Seven sachets of suspected shabu were found in their possession, on top of the P500 marked bill used by cops for the sting.
Pampanga acting police director Senior Supt. Nicolas Salvador commended the police teams which held the operations that led to the arrests, even as he urged the police force under him to be relentless in their campaign against criminality, particularly against illegal drugs trade.
