LIMAY, Bataan: Two suspected drug peddlers were arrested and shabu worth P170,000 confiscated during buy-bust operation in Barangay St. Francis II here Thursday.
In a report submitted by Limay police chief Major Dennis Duran to Bataan police director Col. Palmer Tria, joint operating units confiscated two plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated weight of more or less 25 grams.
Members of the Limay MPS, Bataan Police Provincial Drugs Enforcement Unit and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted the illegal drugs operation. The suspects were caught in the act of selling shabu to an undercover agent.
Major Duran said the suspects are now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Colonel Tria said that the Philippine National Police in Bataan will continue to intensify its efforts to combat the illegal drug trade and will not tolerate any illegal drug activities in the province.
