CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando– Over P1-million worth of illegal drugs were seized by authorities, while three suspected drug peddlers were arrested in Olongapo City on Sept. 27.
A report from the office of Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar R. Pasiwen said that joint elements of Olongapo City police drug enforcement unit, Police Station 3, special operation unit 3, city mobile force company, and PNP Drug Enforcement Group conducted an anti-illegal drugs operation at Barangay New Asinan, Olongapo City which resulted in the arrest of Jayvee De Jesus y Afo of Barangay Bajac-Bajac, Ramon Monzaga y Raagas aka Kang of Amagis St., Mabayuan, and Ronna Marie Dela Vega y Acheta aka RM of Gordon Avenue, New Asinan, all in Olongapo City.
Seized from the suspects were five small to large transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 150 grams with total value of P1,020,000 and the P1,000 bill marked money.
The suspects now face charges for violations of Section 5 and 11, Article II of R.A. 9165.
