NLEx, SCTEx sections undergoing repairs

CLARK FREEPORT – NLEx Corp. announced over-the-weekend that sections of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) were closed for maintenance work and bridge retrofitting.

The announcement said maintenance work was made on portions of the NLEx Bocaue Interchange northbound exit ramp starting June 25 and will last until July 1 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Also on NLEx, portions of the Pulilan Interchange northbound and southbound were also affected by the maintenance work which started on June 25 until June 28 as well as portions of the San Simon Interchange northbound and southbound that started June 25 until June 28.

On the SCTEx, portions of the Clark North Interchange, Tarlac bound entry ramp to Dolores Underpass, underwent repairs from June 25 until June 26.

Bridge retrofitting

Retrofitting of the NLEx Sta. Rita northbound and southbound, innermost lane, started on June 22 and will last until June 30 while at the Candaba Viaduct southbound outermost lane it started on June 22 until June 30.

The Valenzuela northbound middle lane was also subjected to retrofi tting on June 25 to June 28 while the Torres Bugallon, Valenzuela northbound middle lane on June 25 until June 28.
