SEXY singer-turned-political blogger Mocha Uson felt overwhelmed when she was appointed as Assistant Secretary for Social Media ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO)

Malacanang issued the appointment paper, and immediately after, the oathtaking took place in front of Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.

    In her interview Mocha said…

Mocha has more than 5 million followers in her Mocha Uson blog account.

With her appointment as the new Secretary, her previous appointment as member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) will be cancelled.

Right after her appointment, Mocha became a trending name in Twitter.

The newly appointed Assistant Secretary is being bashed by netizens.

FORMER Kapamilya game show host Jaymee Joaquin reveals battle with breast cancer.

It has been a while since the last time we heard from Kapamilya host/actress Jaymee Joaquin, who made the tagline “Kabagang” popular.

She was the face of the ABS-CBN midnight game show Games Uplate Live, which ran from 2006 to 2009.

She became part of the defunct sitcom Bora (2005) and series Ligaw Na Bulaklak (2008), among others.

She also starred in the movies My Big Love and Tanging Ina Ninyong Lahat, which were both released in 2008. In 2010, Jaymee suddenly left the country to travel the world.

For two years, the TV host studied Communications and Tourism in Sydney, Australia.

Then she moved to Madrid, Spain, where she lived for at least four years and became an English teacher. In mid-2015, Jaymee relocated to San Diego, California, where her life would do a 180-degree turn.

The 37-year-old celebrity got diagnosed with Stage 2A breast cancer in October 2016.

She began chemotherapy treatment in January 2017, at the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center.

On April 15, Jaymee made her presence felt on social media when she resurfaced with a YouTube channel dedicated to documenting her “non-conventional life as a performing artist, a commercial talent, a curious traveler, a conversations mentor, a carefree woman, and now a breast cancer victor.”

Her channel was aptly titled “Jaymee Wins.”

Using the same title for her Instagram account, the former Star Magic artist proudly posted her new “non-conventional” look.

Jaymee decided to shave off all her hair while she was still “good,” “healthy,” and “brave enough” to let it go.

This was a part of her “journey to healing.” Her post read, “Dear Society: Will you still accept me and think of me as ‘beautiful’ even if I’m bald and non-conventional? I hope so.

“Actually, WHO CARES? I accept and love ME anyway. And my Creator thinks I’m fearfully and wonderfully made. That’s really all that matters. P.S. Wearing the scarf I knitted during my down days!”

In the following days, Jaymee continued to reintroduce herself to the world, and reconnected with the Filipino community.

Iniwanan ko kayo sa ere because after ABS-CBN, I left the country and traveled the world.

“Hinanap ko po sarili ko and, I guess ngayon, hanap na hanap ko na sarili ko!”

The reason for calling the channel “Jaymee Wins” was simple and straightforward, “Ako, naniniwala ako sa puso’t kaluluwa ka na dapat kini- claim na iyong victory, di ba?

“Kasi fighting, may struggle pa ‘yan, e! So dapat claim na, Jaymee wins! I know that I will win. In my heart, I have faith in the Lord.”

So far, Jaymee is halfway through her treatment. She was fortunate enough to discover the cancer during its early stage. Stage 2A breast cancer has “85% chance of cure,” according to health websites.

On the day she uploaded her vlog on YouTube, Jaymee had her third round of chemo.

The process hasn’t been the easiest for her, but the former Kapamilya host has kept a positive outlook.

On her video, she said, “Alam niyo, hindi niyo masasabi talaga kung ano yung ibabato sa iyo ng tadhana.

“Pero kailangan…wala, e. Ganun yung barahang binigay, e. It’s the best way to just deal with things.

“Kahit may pinagdadaanang paghihirap such as cancer or mga difficulties in life. Nako, basta meron kayong tiwala sa Panginoon at meron kayong tiwala sa sarili niyo, mapapagdaanan niyo ‘yan at malalagpasan niyo nang okay.”
