Tastes From The Greens (TFTG), a Pampanga-based company operating a chain of milk tea stores in Luzon, on Monday donated a total of 200 bags of rice to assist local government relief efforts in the town of Mexico and the City of San Fernando.

Mayors Teddy Tumang and Edwin Santiago of Mexico and the capital city, respectively, personally received the donation from TFTG representatives Dr. Kimberly Gatpolintan, Lorenz Allan Gatpolintan and Paul John Toledo.

The trio represented TFTG founder Rowena Gatpolintan, who initiated the donation to help the two LGU’s in stockpiling relief goods to be continuously distributed to residents reeling from the effects of the government Luzon-wide lockdown.

Each of the LGUs received 100 bags of 50-kilogram commercial-grade rice as they both brace for the possible extension of the lockdown. The local officials said the donation will go a long way in extending assistance to the most needy of their constituents.

“This donation will also mean more blessings in return to the TFTG family,” Tumang said.
TFTG’s first-ever store is located in the capital city while its first branch was established in the nearby town of Mexico.

To date, TFTG, which became famous for its unique creampuff recipe, has dozens of branches spread across various regions of Luzon.
