CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Mayor Edwin EdSa” Santiago goes hands-on in the implementation of the localized enhanced community quarantine on Pongking St., Purok 7, Barangay Panipuan starting July 1.

This came in the wake of the three confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the area, making it a ground zero for the disease in the city.

The citys Task Force WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) conducted massive sanitation and disinfection drive in both the street and the purok. An 8 p.m.-5 a.m. curfew has also been imposed.

The city government has conducted contact tracing andmapping of individuals the three patients came into close proximity.

Food packs have also been distributed to the 21 households affected by the lockdown.

In his meeting with barangay officials led by chair Rodolfo Dizon and frontline offices of the city, Santiago impressed upon them the critical needs of Pongking St. residents: “Ngayon kayo mas kailangan ng mga nasasakupan ninyo.
