THERE’S NO reason to stop writing about modern-day Marian apparitions, especially about the Blessed Mother’s prophetic warnings, as I have done so for over two decades now.
There’s even more reason to echo Marian messages and warnings to erring humanity, because her prophecies are now seeing reality in increasing tempo.
Many have heard about Marian warnings from Fatima in 1917 that warned of a World War II, even citing who would be pope by then.
Post WWII, there are again even more dire warnings being repeated by the Mother of God, particularly in Garabandal, Spain and Akita, Japan. I have dealt with prophecies from these sites in my past pieces.
Garabandal, though blessed by Padre Pio and Mother Teresa of Calcutta during their earthly lives, still awaits Church judgement. Akita, however, was already approved as believable by the local ordinary.
And, unknown to many, the Church, in 2016, also approved as authentic the Marian apparitions and Marian messages in San Nicolas in Argentina.
Let me quote Catholic author Michael Brown: “the apparitions and messages are some of the sternest ever approved by the Church. They warn of chastisements, the loss of two thirds of the world to evil, the great danger to earth, and that humanity is hanging by a thread.”
The Blessed Mother conveyed her messages to Gladys Herminia Quiroga, a middle-aged housewife and mother, starting 1983. By 1990, she had received approximately 1,900 messages.
Mary said, “You must be warned, children, the plague is big. At these moments all humanity is hanging by a thread. My children, the senseless person is dead, even if alive, because he does not fear the justice of God, nor fears not fulfilling of His commandments. He wants to ignore the fact that the Lord’s day and his judgment will arrive. Blessed are those who fear God’s judgment.”
“God’s warning is over the world. Those who stay in the Lord have nothing to fear, but those who deny what comes from him do. Two-thirds of the world is lost and the other part must pray and make reparation for the Lord to take pity. The devil wants to have full domination over the earth. He wants to destroy. The earth is in great danger.”
The Blessed Mother also said, “The majority of mankind has allowed itself to become contaminated and as a result the world is under a warning… The young find themselves facing a corrupt, horrifying world. Do not allow yourselves to be taken in by the calamities which you have before your eyes. At these moments all humanity is hanging by a thread. If the thread breaks, many will be those who do not reach salvation. That is why I call you to reflection. Hurry because time is running out; there will be no room for those who delay in coming!”
And then the Blessed Mother tells us how to defend ourselves from evil: “The weapon that has the greatest influence on evil is to say the Rosary.”
But it’s not all bad news from the Blessed Mother. She also said, “A new time has begun. A new hope has born; attach yourselves to this hope. The very intense light of Christ is going to be reborn, for just as on Calvary, after Crucifixion and death, the Resurrection took place, the Church too will be born again through the strength of love.”
Meanwhile, we jump to the latest message of our Blessed Mother in Medjugorje. Last March 18, she told visionary Maria Soldo as follows:
“Dear children! My earthly life was simple. I loved and I rejoiced in small things. I loved life – the gift from God – even though pain and sufferings pierced my heart. My children, I had the strength of faith and boundless trust in God’s love. All those who have the strength of faith are stronger.
“Faith makes you live according to what is good and then the light of God’s love always comes at the desired moment. That is the strength which sustains in pain and suffering.
“My children, pray for the strength of faith, trust in the Heavenly Father, and do not be afraid. Know that not a single creature who belongs to God will be lost but will live forever.
“Every pain has its end and then life in freedom begins there where all of my children come – where everything is returned.
“My children, your battle is difficult. It will be even more difficult, but you follow my example. Pray for the strength of faith; trust in the love of the Heavenly Father. I am with you. I am manifesting myself to you. I am encouraging you. With immeasurable motherly love I am caressing your souls. Thank you.”
