OLONGAPO CITY — Joint operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group field offices of Olongapo and Zambales, the 301st Maritime Police and Police Station 2 here arrested a man for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunitions.
Police identified the suspect as Michael King Fiel y Arpillefa, a resident of Barangay West Tapinac this city.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of Search Warrant No. 2020-06 for Violation of RA 10591 issued by Executive Judge Roline Gines M. Jabalde of the Regional Trial Court Branch 74, Olongapo City.
Recovered from the suspect were one .45 pistol marked “Shooters Military S.A.M” with Serial No M08 082800, one magazine assembly for .45, and seven live ammunition for .45.
The suspect is now in the custody of CIDG Olongapo facing charges for violation of RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
