Owned by young entrepreneur Jeff Del Mundo and half-Filipino, half-Swedish co-owner Thea Morrison, the Lemon Jar offers eight varieties of lemonades, ice blended drinks, pastas, sandwiches and even salads.
Morrison said this is the third branch of Lemon Jar in operation.
She said the first branch is located in front of the Angeles University Foundation next to the Royal Business Club while the second branch is located along the highway at the eco-complex in Malolos, Bulacan.
Morrison said Lemon Jar serves rice meals in its first two branches and may soon also serve it at its SM branch.
She explained that “SM does not allow it but we will write a letter to allow us to serve rice meals after mall hours.”
Morrison said Lemon Jar is “very good for the working people” because we have very affordable food. “Aside from the full-size pasta, we also serve it in snack size which is half the price so if you’re on a budget it’s still filling and it does not hurt your wallet,” she said.
Asked what makes Lemon Jar a cut above the rest, Morrison said: “It’s clean, it’s fresh and we use real ingredients.” Lemon Jar is open daily from 4 p.m. to 1 p.m.
