Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. on February 23, 2024 instructed members of the Angeles City Barangay Outreach, led by Michael Lising, to distribute 10 liters of drinking water each to 1,032 households in Jaovil, Barangay Pandan.
The city hall workers were assisted by Barangay Pandan workers, headed by Captain Cors Alejandrino, and members of the Angeles City Traffic Development Office.
Lazatin also requested one truck each from PrimeWater and Angeles City Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to ration water for the affected residents in Jaovil.
This, after residents of one household at Jaovil contracted diarrhea, which is traced to undrinkable water.
