ANGELES CITY – A modern workplace with a chic industrial design characterized the newly opened office of young lawyers Kercee P. Lazatin and Ralp S. Macalino along the Fil-Am Friendship Circumferential Road in Barangay Pampang here.
The Lazatin, Macalino Law Firm at Unit 2004 Kakao Building Block 15, Lot 1-4 was inaugurated with aplomb on Monday amid the Covid 19 scare besetting the Korean community here and Proclamation 922 declaring a state of public health emergency in the Philippines.
Both graduates of the Ateneo Law School, Lazatin said they have much to contribute to the community.
“I am a new lawyer. We thought that this would be an edge for us so we decided to put this up,” she said.
“Our partnership is not just strictly a job for us but it’s also a friendship for us and I think this is important because the foundation is based on friendship,” Macalino said. “Before we decided to put this up, we really got to know each other on a deep level that is why we know we can do this together.”
The law firm will have “the traditional type of lawyering and we will also apply the lessons we learned from our senior lawyers especially my lolo (Atty. Vic Macalino) and my uncle (Atty. Rollie Macalino),” said the young lawyer.
“Lawyering is multi-faceted. There are so many that can be explored and there are also so many fields of law that remained untap as of now,” he pointed out.
“Of course, in law defending your client is important but also we put premium on client satisfaction. We’re not just lawyers here but we are selling the service so we try to make sure our clients are satisfied from start to finish,” Lazatin assured.
“We keep it professional and maintain a relationship with our clients that works for us,” added Macalino.
“We offer business law services for corporations, small and medium enterprises, individuals and we also handle real estate properties, family issues, as well as criminal and the civil aspect,” she said.
But Lazatin said in addition to legal services, their law firm has also partnered with an accounting firm: “So, we offer full-service law firm.”
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” G. Lazatin Jr., the father of Atty. Lazatin, and Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting cut the ribbon during the inauguration.
