TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Tarlac are receiving expanded support through affordable financing, digital banking solutions, and business development assistance under LANDBANK’s SULONG MSME Fair.
The initiative supports the national government’s efforts to strengthen MSMEs amid economic pressures such as inflation and global market uncertainties.
LANDBANK President and Chief Executive Officer Lynette Ortiz underscored the critical role of MSMEs in driving economic growth, describing them as key contributors to employment generation and community development.

Through the program, MSMEs were onboarded into LANDBANK’s digital platforms, enabling easier access to banking services such as payments, collections, and government transactions.
The bank also introduced its lending programs designed for startups, growing enterprises, and established SMEs, providing tiered financing options based on business maturity and capacity.
Eligible borrowers may also benefit from additional support packages, including insurance coverage for selected loan programs.
LANDBANK said the initiative aims to strengthen financial inclusion and help MSMEs scale up operations while improving resilience amid economic challenges.
The SULONG MSME Fair forms part of the bank’s continued efforts to empower local enterprises as drivers of inclusive and sustainable economic growth. (MJSC/AJRR, PIA Region 3-Tarlac)
