Lambat-Sibat nets Tarlac’s Most Wanted

    CAMP MACABULOS, Tarlac City—“Dalawang taon siyang hinahabol-habol ng ating kapulisan kasi madulas na parang palos, pero dahil sa epektibong pagpapatupad ng Lambat Sibat, sa wakas ay nasakote rin siya ng ating kapulisan.”

    Thus said Tarlac police director Senior Supt. Alex B. Sintin after the Number 1 Most Wanted in the province fi nally fell into the hands of the authorities Monday evening.

    Sintin disclosed that the arrest of Rustan Tan y Lugtu, aka Tan Tan, 22, of Block 3, Barangay San Nicolas this city was through the joint operation of Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) headed by Supt. Miguel Guzman and the Tarlac City Police Station led by Supt. Felix Verbo.

    Tan Tan was apprehended in his safehouse at Phase 2, Block 3, Lot 6, Teresa Homes, Barangay Tibag this city by virtue of the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maria Magdalena A. Balderama of the RTC Branch 65, Tarlac City for the crime of robbery docketed under Criminal Case Number 3542-2015 dated April 06, 2015 with recommended bail amounting to P100,000 for his temporary liberty.

    According to Intelligence Operation Chief SPO4 Wilhelmino Alcantara, Tan Tan was involved in a series of high profi le robbery in the city since 2013 up to this year victimizing a free-lance talent manager of P100,000; Myrna Macalino, a businesswoman at Nina’s Ville; Geizy Mae Dorado, an overseas Filipino worker and a student at St. Paul College; Mae Antonette Sabado, a teacher and a wife of a policeman; and the latest was Rowena Manucduc of Barangay Talaga, Capas town wherein the suspect forcibly took her bag with P200,000 cash, 100 ATM cards and gold necklace worth P16,000.
