SUBIC, Zambales — A leader of the notorious Tahari Group involved in the series of kidnapping, robbery holdup, drug peddling and shooting Incidents in Zambales and Olongapo City was arrested by operatives of Subic PNP and Provincial Investigation Branch (PIB) of the Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO).
A team headed by Chief Inspector Joan Sibayan head of Subic PNP and Chief Inspector Leonardo Madrid of PIB arrested suspect Mulsid Tahari y Estacio, 21, of Purok 1, Barangay Calapacuan, Subic town.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Raymund Viray of RTC Branch 75 for attempted kidnapping with recommended bail of P120,000.
Recovered from the suspect was one paltik .38 revolver without serial number loaded with five live bullets.
The suspect is now detained at Subic PNP Municipal detention cell facing charges for violation of RA 10591.
