Heroism and heritage to ensure stability make the key core values of this year’s celebration with the theme “Pagmasusian ing kaganapang akamtan, ing syudad lakwas tayang patatagan.”
During the unveiling of the celebration’s schedule of activities Monday at the city hall, Mayor Edwin Santiago enjoined the Fernandinos to be ever mindful of the the blessings they have received that have made the city a premier business and commercial center in Central Luzon.
“With our unity and “malasakit,” we shall continue our stride towards our vision of making our beloved San Fernando the model of countryside development in the whole country,” Santiago said.
Among the other activities scheduled are pre-marriage counselling and mass wedding, vision and diabetes screening, blood-letting, arts and crafts fair, pet and bird shows, medical and dental missions for PWDs and senior citizens, job and trade fairs, serenade for women, a youth parade and a thanksgiving Mass.
Also included in the celebration is the turn-over of the Rotary River Walk in Barangay Sta. Lucia.
Principal venues for the activities are SM City Downtown, SM City Pampanga, Walter Mart, Robinsons Starmills and Vista Mall.
