WARM WELCOME. Mabalaquenos welcome Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso at Barangay Dolores covered court in Malabalacat.
MABALACAT CITY – Presidential aspirant and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso on Thursday took his “listening tour” to this city and nearby Angeles City.
With “inclusive and open governance” as part of his platform, the Aksyon Demokratiko standard bearer engaged members of the transportation sector, jewelry makers, and market vendors in a dialog at Barangay Dolores covered court.
When asked how confident he is to get the votes of the Kapampangans, Moreno said he is happy to be given the warmest welcome along with the trust of the Kapampangans and the rest of the Filipinos.
“It’s a tedious process but we will never give up,” said Moreno. “I will do my best. Doc Willie and I, and the team will continue na ligawan nang ligawan ang taong bayan, ang ordinaryong Pilipino. Patuloy naming gagawin mapasaan mang dako ng ating bansa na kausapin, alamin ang sitwasyon ng tao directly as much as possible, as safe as possible.”
“Sa bawat sector, government and non-government organizations, mga kilalang tao na iboboto kami, maraming salamat, lalo na yung higit na nakararami na ordinaryong tao sa ating bansa,” he furthered.
Moreno also lauded Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and the city government on its vaccination program and reiterated his offer for free anti-Covid 19 medicines to patients infected by the virus and who are now in various hospitals in Central Luzon.
Tandaan ninyo iisang bangka tayo,” he added.
Rivera endorsed
Moreno, also on Thursday, endorsed Angeles City mayoral aspirant and councilor Amos Rivera during lunch at Ottie’s restaurant after his visit at the San Nicolas public market.
Being under the same political party, Rivera expressed his gratitude to Moreno for his support of his candidacy and to the Bayung Angeles team.
“We are happy and grateful that Yorme is here. We will always welcome the support of anyone,” said Rivera.
“Yorme Isko and I share a very similar narrative coming from a simple family. We truly understand the importance of having a government that offers a better quality of life to our people. To offer for real change with the same principles and core values. That’s why I am also running under the same political party Aksyon Demokratiko,” Rivera added.
