SAN JOSE CITY – More than 400 families from several villages of Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija have received P1,000 to P2,800 recently in a two-day pay-out program under the government’s flagship program Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
Adelina Apostol, regional director of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), said the pay-out was made through the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) San Jose City Branch on May 27 to 28.
Under the 4Ps, the DSWD said indigent families with zero to 14 years old children received cash assistance intended for the latter’s education and nutrition.
The latest pay-out covered the cash subsidies for the months of November and December 2009.
Records showed that families from Pantabangan town who received cash subsidies include 94 from Barangay Conversion; Marikit, 92; Cambitala, 81; Cadaclan, 64 and Sampaloc,86.
Earlier this month, the DSWD also released the cash subsidy to indigent families from five other Nueva Ecija municipalities such as Cuyapo with a total of P947,600; Guimba, P829,000; Quezon, P1,015,700; Lupao, P998,800 and Laur, P1,674,000.
