The country’s leading consumer finance company empowers future talent and young professionals through early career development programs
Taguig City, Philippines – Home Credit Philippines (HCPH), the country’s leading consumer finance company, continues to strengthen its commitment to developing future leaders through sustained investments in early career programs. These initiatives, which include scholarships, internships, and a management trainee track, equip emerging professionals, from students to those starting their careers, with the skills and mentorship needed to succeed in today’s workforce, particularly in the consumer finance sector.
Through these programs, HCPH has become a launchpad for individuals seeking growth and leadership opportunities at the start of their careers. This focus on early career development also strengthens the company’s talent pipeline, producing leaders who drive innovation and advance HCPH’s mission to empower the lives of Filipinos through accessible and inclusive financial solutions.
The impact of these programs is reflected in the company’s industry recognitions. In 2024, HCPH received the Silver Award for Excellence in Graduate Recruitment and Development at the HR Excellence Awards and was named a winner in Best Recruitment Innovation for Young Talents at the People Insight Awards. That same year, Prosple, a leading student career platform, ranked HCPH sixth on its list of the Top 100 Fresh Graduate Employers in the country. The company sustained its strong standing in 2025, placing eighth on the list.
“At HCPH, we believe that investing in early career development is an investment in the future of our company and the communities we serve. These programs equip emerging and early-career professionals with the tools and opportunities to grow, while helping us build a strong talent pool of capable leaders who can drive innovation and deliver on our mission to make financial solutions more accessible and inclusive for Filipinos. The recognitions we have received over the years affirm the effectiveness of our approach and motivate us to further strengthen our programs,” said Jana Pechouckova, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer of HCPH.

Empowering future talent through scholarships and internships
Launched in 2022, HCPH’s scholarship program supports outstanding students through financial assistance, learning tools, and clear career pathways. In its pilot year, 15 scholars from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Cagayan de Oro received laptops, a monthly allowance, and guaranteed internship placements at HCPH. These internships provided scholars with practical industry experience, and early exposure to a professional work environment. Upon graduation, they were given the opportunity to join the company through its scholarship-to-employment initiative.
Since then, the program has expanded its reach. In 2024, HCPH extended scholarship opportunities to 19 students from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and Batangas State University.
Fast-tracking young talent into future leadership roles through H.Y.P.E. Program
For high-potential fresh graduates aiming for an accelerated path to leadership, HCPH offers its flagship early career development program called “Harnessing Your Potential for Excellence” (H.Y.P.E.) Management Trainee Track. This program is designed to fast-track career growth through immersive, hands-on experience, ownership of high-impact projects, and mentorship from senior leaders and industry experts.
The program offers a wide range of specialization tracks, including Customer Relationship Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Risk, Collections, Finance, and IT, among others. Trainees will gain in-depth exposure to critical business functions through structured rotations within their assigned departments, developing a well-rounded perspective of the organization.
The H.Y.P.E. program is designed to equip trainees with leadership capabilities and the strategic mindset necessary to step into key roles faster than traditional entry-level tracks. Post-program placement is based on each participant’s strengths and career aspirations, ensuring they are positioned for long-term success.
