Witnessing the turn-over and blessing ceremonies were Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac, PDEA director general, 1st District Rep. Oscar Rodriguez, Regional Trial Court (RTC) Executive Judge Divina Luz Aquino-Simbulan, DOJ Regional Director Jesus Simbulan, DILG Regional Director Florida Dijan, DILG Provincial Director Myrvi Fabia, Board Members Rosve Henson, Crisostomo Garbo and other heads of government regional agencies and department heads of the Capitol including officials from the Philippine National Police.
This edifice, the governor said is an expression of her full support to PDEA in its campaign against illegal drugs.
“This two-storey PDEA-3 building donated by the provincial government is a manifestation of my administration’s support in the fight against illicit drugs.
The governor is known for its relentless campaign against the proliferation of illegal drugs in the province.
She also reiterated that her call to all mayors and barangay captains to support PDEA’s campaign against illegal drugs by providing effective programs for the out-of-school-youth such as skills training and alternative learning system (ALS) that will help them develop their skills in the optimum efficacy.
Director Rosales has expressed her gratitude to the governor for the latter’s unwavering support for the agency’s cause.
Rosales said that in behalf of the tireless men and women of PDEA, she extended her heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Governor Pineda for her invaluable support and assistance.
PDEA-3 is also active in its demand reduction activities and continuously holding series of anti-drug symposia and seminars for the awareness and prevention in the usage of prohibited substance in the region.
