The governor, together with 3rd District Board Members Teddy Tumang and Rosve Henson and Mayor Roy Manalastas explained the importance of having a Philhealth membership to the beneficiaries However, the governor said those who failed to get a NHTS Philhealth membership have nothing to worry about as the provincial government will provide Philhealth’s Point of Care (POC) Program intended for those who are non-Philhealth members.
The governor said the provincial board approved millions of pesos enough to pay the POC Philhealth premiums of non-members who will be confined to eleven provincial and district hospitals.
