Yoly Crisanto, Globe’s Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer, led the distribution of aid to residents affected by Tropical Storm Enteng and fire incidents in Bacoor City.

In partnership with the Ayala Foundation, Globe recently distributed 1,000 food bags to families affected by Tropical Storm Enteng and fire incidents in the City of Bacoor.

Over 2,600 families were displaced due to Enteng and two devastating fires in Sitio Wawa and Sitio Kanluran in Barangay Zapote III, prompting Globe to immediately extend aid.

Globe employees came together to pack and deliver essential food items, embodying the Filipino spirit of bayanihan— that unites Filipinos in times of crisis.

The food bags were officially handed over to the officials of the City Government of Bacoor, represented by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista–Mendiola.

Globe’s team, alongside representatives from the Ayala Foundation, also visited one of the evacuation centers to deliver the food packs and provide moral support for displaced families.

This effort is part of the company’s mission to support Filipinos in need, ensuring that those most vulnerable receive help to recover and rebuild.

“In the face of hardship, we Bacooreños stand united, or as we say— STRIKE AS ONE! This overwhelming generosity from Globe and the Ayala Foundation exemplifies that even in tough times, we have each other. This support gives the Bacooreños hope that we can get through these challenges, rebuild, and come back stronger,” said Revilla.

“We stand in solidarity with the Bacooreños during these challenging times. Globe remains committed to delivering immediate relief to communities affected by natural disasters and unforeseen crises, ensuring that no Filipino is left behind in the wake of tragedy,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe’s Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer.

Globe’s collaboration with the Ayala Foundation exemplifies a strong partnership that seeks to provide immediate and impactful solutions during disasters and calamities. The joint effort serves as a reminder of the value of working together to help build stronger, more resilient communities across the country.
