Dr. Carolina L. Sugpatan, education supervisor I for special education of children with disabilities, said Limay bested all other SPED schools in nine districts with 21 medals composed of 7 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze.
Mariveles placed second with 19 medals (5 gold, 6 silver, 8 bronze) followed by Orion with 10 medals (7 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze); Orani, 8 medals (3 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze); Dinalupihan, 6 medals (2 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze); Abucay, 5 medals (3 gold, 2 silver); and Bagac with 1 silver medal.
In shotput for boys with hearing impairment under category A (12 – 15 years old), Clyde Zulueta of Orani was bagged the first place and Elbert Malvera of Limay placed 2nd. Under category B (16 years and above), Noel Ramirez of Orion won the 1st place followed by Richard Comia, also of Limay, and Dave Renz Valeroso of Mariveles placed third.
Shot put for girls with hearing impairment under category A had Ma. Ira Margarette Cabulao of Limay in 1st place, Krizzia Gregorio of Limay in 2nd and Clarissa Solayao of Bagac in 3rd. Under category B, Sharon Rubia of Limay won the 1st place, Joriz dela Cruz of Mariveles in 2nd and Irene Irangan of Limay in 3rd.
Under category A for shot put for boys with mental disability, Marleen Bravo of Limay won the 1st place, Rommel Yamao of Orani, 2nd and Axl Rose Mallari of Mariveles, 3rd. In category B, Ryan Valenzuela of Orion, won the 1st place; Marlon Santos of Orion, 2nd and Mon Jasper Zamora of Mariveles, 3rd.
Shot put for girls with mental disability under category A, Essel Elaine Nolasco of Abucay won the 1st place; Christine Roque of Abucay, 2nd and Rose Ann Nicol of Mariveles, 3rd. In category B, Aiza Calma of Limay, 1st; Carissa Cadiente of Limay, 2nd and Glynis Grate of Mariveles, 3rd.
