MABALACAT CITY — A 46-year-old woman allegedly running a drug den and four other suspects were arrested during buy-bust operations conducted by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga Office and the Mabalacat City Police Station in Barangay Dau here on Aug. 15.
PDEA-Pampanga identified the suspected drug den operator as alias Joyce, while the other suspects were also named by their aliases: Beck, female, 55 years old; Len-Len, female, 20; Kiko, male, 24; and Leo, male, 43.
Confiscated from them were six plastic sachets containing roughly 13 grams of suspected shabu worth P88,400, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at PDEA Region 3 Jail Facility in the City of San Fernando, while the seized illegal drugs will undergo forensic examination at PDEA-3 laboratory.
Charges for violation of RA 9165 ( Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are now being readied for filing in court against the suspects. Punto News Team/PDEA-3
