SAN ILDEFONSO, Bulacan — A farm manager and his brother were found dead, riddled with bullets while another person was injured in Barangay Mataas na Parang here Friday evening.
Town police chief Lt. Col. Carl Omar H. Fiel identified the victims as Larry Gabat y Gagante, 31, farm manager and brother Rey Gabat y Gagante of legal age, both natives of Guimaras province and residing at Barangay Pinaod, San Ildefonso.
The wounded victim was identified as Michael Garcia, a resident of Nueva Ecija.
Police said they received a report of a shooting incident at the said place about 9:30 p.m. of Friday.
Responding policemen found the bodies of the brothers and the injured Garcia who was brought to the R. De C. Galvez Medical Center for treatment.
Recovered from the crime scene were 19 empty shells of caliber 5.56 mm.
Police said a dragnet operation has been launched for the possible apprehension of the suspect identified as Romeo De Ocampo y Galang, 40, security guard and a resident of Barangay Calasag, San Ildefonso.
