“The more partners we have, the more promising the future is.”

Thus, said Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago as he delivered his speech during the Donors Forum organized by the City Social Welfare and Development Office, Tuesday at The Forum, Orchids Gardens.

Santiago extended his gratitude to individuals, non-government organizations (NGOs), and private organizations hand in hand with the local government.

“Itong Donors Forum ay pagkakataon ng syudad para pasalamatan ang lahat nang partners in the residential and national levels. We are so blessed to have partners who immediately respond and actively support to our call in addressing the needs of Fernandinos,” he said.
The mayor also reiterated and regarded the role of everyone as vital in the culture preservation and development of Fernandinos especially of the children.

“Kailangan po ng mga bata ang matatag na pundasyon. Ipakilala natin sa mga batang ito na ang Diyos ang dapat unahin. Pangalawa, may kapwa siya, kalikasan, at bayan. Let’s make them the happiest people by giving them a livable and sustainable environment,” Santiago ended.

Meanwhile, Aileen Villanueva, CSWD Officer, stressed that the said forum was not just to recognize the city partners but also to “seek and build relationship to more potential partners in realizing the city’s goals in improving the well-being of Fernandinos.”
