CABANATUAN CITY – The Nueva Ecija police provincial office (NEPPO) has distributed computer sets to 32 police stations throughout the province in preparation for the electronic or e-blotter system, a ranking police official said on Sunday.

Senior Supt. Roberto Aliggayu, director of the Nueva Ecija police provincial office (NEPPO), said all the stations in Nueva Ecija’s 27 town and five cities have already acquired computer sets to be used exclusively for e-blotter system, a scheme which is expected to make reporting of crimes and incidents more effective and orderly.

The computer sets were blessed in simple ceremonies at the NEPPO ground here on Friday before finally sending them to the city and municipal police stations, he said.

The e-blotter was part of the national crime information system conceptualized wayback during the term of the late former President Corazon Aquino, he said.

This sets a more precise manner of taking date from a suspected criminal compared to the traditional paper and pen booking system.

Aliggayu, added that e-blotter provides law enforcers a real time information on crime statistics that might be useful in resolving particular incidents.

Meanwhile, Aliggayu said his command has been implementing intensified campaign against riding-in-tandem to curb criminalities.

However, he assured the public of due respect in anti-criminality drive.
