DTI sparks local economy with “Likhang Lokal-Tatak Rizal” Trade Fair in Antipolo City

Antipolo City, Philippines—The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in partnership with the Samahan ng mga Rizalenyo sa Sektor ng Agrikultura at Pagkain (SARAP) Inc., launched the “Likhang Lokal-Tatak Rizal” Trade Fair on October 16. This vibrant event showcases the best local products and businesses from Rizal province, celebrating the rich culture and entrepreneurial spirit of our community.
The trade fair serves as a platform for almost 40 local entrepreneurs and artisans to display their products, ranging from traditional crafts to innovative products representing the spirit of “Likhang Lokal, Tatak Rizal.” The diverse selection highlights the rich cultural heritage and economic potential of the province.
Several distinguished guests graced the opening ceremony. In attendance were Counselor Agnes Oldan and Board Member Randy Puno, along with former Counselor Paui Tapales and other DTI Rizal representatives.
This collaborative effort between SARAP and DTI Rizal underscores the organization’s commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering economic growth and sustainability in the region.
The trade fair is open to the public from 16 to 25 October 2024 at the Activity Area, Lower Ground Floor, North Wing of Robinsons Antipolo. Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend and support local enterprises during this showcase of Rizal’s finest products. END
