SUBIC, Zambales- Seven persons were arrested by operatives of the Subic Municipal Police Station in separate drug buy-bust operations conducted in three barangay here.
Chief Inspector Jude Bryan Maguddayao, head of Subic PNP, said suspect Abdul Fahad Imalil, 27, tricycle driver was the first to be nabbed in Barangay Calapacuan.
Subsequent operations resulted to the arrest in Sta. Monica Subdivision, Barangay Sto. Tomas of suspects Butch Damian, Angelo Ellaso, King Jasper Koahu, Roland Capili, and Jonathan Reyes, all of legal age and residents of Subic town and Olongapo City.
Recovered from Fahad were four plastic sachets of shabu, the buy-bust item of shabu worth P500, and several drug paraphernalia and .38 revolver were seized from Damian and his companions.
Report said the suspects were caught having a pot session inside Damian’s residence during the buy-bust operation but Damian vehemently denied the accusations.
Fahad will be facing criminal charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 under Article II of RA 9165, the same to be filed against Damian and his group plus another three drug charges, and two more for the violation of the Omnibus Election Code and RA 10591 before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Olongapo City.
In Barangay Pamatawan, suspect Saulo Lambert Seña, 23, fisherman and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Del Pilar, Castillejos, Zambales was nabbed in the act of selling to a police poseur-buyer one heatsealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu worth P1,000.
The suspect is now detained at Subic PNP detention cell facing charges for violation of RA 9165.
