ANGELES CITY – A 66-year-old driver was found dead with multiple stab wounds in his rented room in a house in Barangay Anunas here last Wednesday morning.
Police said victim Salvador Gutiongco bore at least 10 stab wounds in his face, chest and back and was probably killed the previous night. A fellow employee at a Korean restaurant found his body.
Police said that another stay-in worker, identified only as Rodel, in the same restaurant is being hunted after he never showed up after the estimated time of the murder.
Gutiongco’s wife told police probers that her husband had been receiving death threats via cellphone text messages in the past days.
