OLONGAPO CITY – Joint operatives of the Zambales Provincial Highway Patrol Team (ZPHPT), the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the Olongapo District Office and Olongapo City PNP strictly implemented “Oplan Sita” in Zambales and this city.
The operation was based on the verbal instruction of the director of Highway Patrol Group (HPG) to launch “Oplan Disiplinadong Driver.”
The operation headed by Chief Inspector Eric Reverente, ZPHPT provincial officer, resulted to the confiscation of 39 different types of LED lights banned from use in vehicles, while 30 temporary operator’s permit was issued by LTO enforcers on apprehended motorists for various violations of R.A. 4136.
The confiscated LED lights were brought to Zambales Highway Patrol Team office for proper disposition.
