BALANGA City, Bataan – The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in partnership with the provincial government of Bataan launched project Courses for Literacy on Internet and Computer Knowledge (CLICK) in Balanga City on Thursday.

DICT Undersecretary Faye Condez-de Sagon and DICT Region 3 director Antonio Edward Padre led in the launching with the donation of 20 laptops received by Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III at The Bunker, seat of the provincial government.

De Sagon said they are continuously implementing their initiative “no Filipino left offline” and launching of project CLICK following the directive of Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. to strengthen the digital capacity of local governments and communities.

Project CLICK aims to promote digital literacy and cyber hygiene by providing platforms for Information Communications Technology (ICT) education in formal, informal and non-formal learning environments.

“It seeks to equip students, teachers and various sectors of society with essential digital skills, enhance cyber safety awareness and support upskilling for participation in the digital economy,” the Usec said.
