CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Vice Gov. Dennis “Delta” G. Pineda has reiterated that his alliance with 4th District Rep. Juan Pablo “Rimpy” P. Bondoc which was forged recently was purely for the good of Pampanga especially the fourth district.
Pineda repeated that there were no political bargains or compromise that were made.
“It was just a spontaneous gesture during the birthday of Mayor Flores,” Pineda said, referring to the 64th birthday celebration of Minalin Mayor Edgardo Flores in his municipality last October 6.
“We established an alliance for the development of Pampanga because there are things that the fourth district needs, not only from Congress, but also from the provincial government as well,” he explained.
“Especially sure winner naman siya, wala siyang kalaban. Ako kung susuwerthin ako, kung ibibigay sa akin ng Panginoon ang posisyon na ito, yung cooperation namin between 4th district and Pampanga will all be for the development of Pampanga kase may mga bagay ang distrito na kailangan kay Cong. Rimpy, same thing sa Capitolio,” Pineda said.
“So yung mga for the development ng 4th district magko-combine kami ngayon. Magkakaisa kami (So for the development of the fourth district we will combine. We will be united),” he added.
“Pero unang una, dapat manalo muna ako. Yung tulungan naming yun ang ipapakita namin sa distrito, sa mga Kapampangan (But first I have to win. Our cooperation, that’s what we will show in the district and to the Kapampangans),” Pineda said.
Bondoc will seek reelection under the PDP Laban while Pineda is the gubernatorial candidate of the Kambilan party.
