CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – In time for the celebration of World Tourism Day, all three SM malls here – Pampanga, San Fernando Downtown, and Telabastagan – were among stakeholders bestowed with Tourism Star Awards by the city government in rites held at the Heroes Hall on Sept. 28.
Mayor Vilma Caluag, along with city tourism office chief Ching Pangilinan and members of the newly-reconstituted CSFP Arts, Culture, and Tourism Council presented SM Supermalls the Incident Management Team (IMT) Compliant MICE Facility and the Partner Organization awards for” its active partnership, contribution and support to the city’s programs and events.”
Sky Ranch Pampanga was recognized as an Accredited Tourism Recreation Center for upholding the standards of the Department of Tourism.
SM malls were represented by SM City Pampanga mall manager Aaron Montenegro, assistant mall managers Charm Bacani and Lester Pamintuan, SM City San Fernando Downtown mall manager Alan Dale Parungao, SM City Telabastagan mall manager Lana Erroba and PR manager Rain Cervantes.
