“From one commissioned piece for a client in Manila came residential projects to commercial spaces and offices, with my small garage work area growing to a Genteel Home lifestyle showroom in Pampanga launched last November 2021,” shares the Genteel Home proprietor-designer. “I’m always grateful to my loyal clients who believed in me and helped me find my own space here that I can finally say my home, my family.”
The lifestyle showroom displays a vast collection of her masterpieces and art collections. Her distinctive flair for enduring beauty has only grown more confident and refined over the years – as indeed, shining a spotlight on creativity that’s world class from bespoke furniture, home decor to lifestyle. She enthuses that all her furniture pieces are completely original, designed, built and manufactured here to satisfy the unique need of each client alongside with a professional production design team.
“We’ve got a great vision and a unique culture. One that’s built on a strong set of values of craftsmanship, functionality, and sustainability. Each client represents a ‘mood box’ comprising of bits and pieces of the actual materials and colors we use for the design. This way, we are guided in making a personal connection with the client’s personality and surroundings. Simply creating a beautiful space that supports the wellbeing of our clients while investing in the happiness of their loved one,” she said.
When it comes to sourcing inspiration for her designs, Kat conveys that each project is completely different: “My team and I take a constant effort to innovate and invent with new ideas to match the client’s needs and personality, guided with our values.”
