OLONGAPO CITY – A 23-year-old female has been listed as the 15th confirmed case of Covid-19 in the city.
Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr., head of the city inter-agency task force, said she was exposed to a positive Covid-19 patient at her workplace in Pasig City.
While she did not manifest any symptoms, she was advised advice to undergo RT-PCR test last Wednesday and the result turn out positive.
Paulino added that the patient has remain asymptomatic and is in stable condition in a private hospital in the city.
Contact tracing of the persons the patients came close to had been conducted by the city health office with no one showing any symptoms but were nevertheless required to go into a 14–day quarantine and undergo swab testing.
Paulino assured the city residents that city IATF and all 17 barangays continue to implement all precautionary measures to fight Covid-19 especially with the city placed under modified general community quarantine.
