CABANATUAN CITY – Three more residents of Nueva Ecija recovered from the coronavirus disease, raising to 105 the total number of recoveries in the province as of Saturday, Aug. 1.
Fr. Arnold Abelardo, spokesperson of the Nueva Ecija inter-agency task force, reported the recovery of a 58-year-old woman from Barangay Nabao, Jaen; a 48-year-old airport police personnel from Maligaya, Rizal;and an 18-year-old male from Kap. Pepe this city.
With 105 recoveries, and seven deaths, active Covid-19 cases in the province currently stand at 90. This, as Nueva Ecija logged a total of 206 confirmed cases.
Among the latest reported cases were a 39-year-old woman from Poblacion, San Isidro; and a 66-year-old woman from Sto. Tomas, Peñaranda.
The former has been placed under strict home quarantine while the latter is admitted in a hospital here, according to NEIATF.
