BALANGA CITY — The provincial health office on Tuesday reported that Bataan logged on Monday 12 new deaths from the coronavirus disease, the youngest at one year old, that caused the total number of casualties to rise to 698.
The new fatalities were one-year-old girl and 48-year-ld male from Orani; 44-year-old female from Abucay; 77-year-old male from Balanga City; two females aged 69 and 67 from Mariveles; 45-year-old male from Limay; two females aged 68 and 69, and 55-year-old male from Orion; and two males aged 64 and 63 from Pilar.
The total number of those found positive climbed to 19,700 with 4,106 active cases after 157 new confirmed cases were recorded.
Those who recovered reached 14,896 after 118 new recoveries were added.
The new confirmed cases were from Balanga City – 46, Dinalupihan – 43, Limay – 22, Orani – 13, Mariveles – 8, Orion – 8, Abucay – 6, Bagac – 4, Pilar – 3, Samal – 2, Hermosa – 1, and Morong – 1.
The new recoveries were from Dinalupihan (37), Hermosa (24), Abucay (16), Balanga City (16), Bagac (8), Orion (6), Pilar (6), Orani (2), Samal (2), and Mariveles (1).
