ANGELES CITY – Through the family-owned Biotop Philippines Agriculture Company, Inc., Pampanga 1st District Rep. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has allotted some P2-million worth of rice for tricycle and jeepney drivers in his district.
Beginning the first week of May, Lazatin and his staff will visit all tricycle and jeepney terminals in Angeles City, Mabalacat City, and Magalang Municipality to distribute five kilos of rice each to 17,074 members of tricycle operators and drivers’ associations and 2,555 members of the jeepney operators and drivers’ associations.

Since his incumbency time as Angeles City mayor, it has been Lazatin’s tradition to give five kilos of rice each to tricycle drivers and jeepney drivers as his personal Christmas gift to the transport sector.
