CABANATUAN CITY – The Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Office was hailed by no less than Police Regional Office-3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen for establishing a highly equipped command center to upscale the maintenance of peace and order in the province.
“Napakaganda po ng nangyari sa araw na ito na nagpapakita na marami tayong improvement dito sa Nueva Ecija police office,” enthused Pasiwen as he was joined by Ecija police director Col. Richard Caballero at the inauguration and blessing of the newly renovated administrative building, annex building and the provincial command center (PCC) on Feb. 7.
Pasiwen said the newly renovated offices should result to a more effective service by police officers and men to the people: “At ang pinakamagandang nangyari dito ay yung opening ng atin pong operation center,” that he said enables the provincial headquarters to view real-time incidents even in far-flung villages.
Caballero said the PCC, also called operation center, that was funded by the PNP national office provides the necessary linkages with the CCTVs in the barangay and municipal levels.
“At the same time yung mga patrol cars natin, yung iba pang mga law-abiding citizens pag gusto nilang i-connect yung mga real time na kuha nilang footages ay pwede nilang i-connect dito so mabi-view natin lahat yung nangyayari,” Caballero explained.
The operation center is also equipped with an automatic power generator that can work in case of power outages, making it highly pivotal in times of disasters, Caballero added.
